Healing Update

This little wound has sort of been the center of my life at the moment. It’s been impacting my everyday life more than I thought it would. I feel it mostly when I have to put my shoes on. The cut is RIGHT where the foot raises and touches the shoe a little. I have to stand around a lot and walk in my warehouse job and I’m always thinking about how its affecting my wound. It’s honestly not even a big cut, but it was still open and possibly on the cusp of needing stitches.

It doesn’t really hurt when I’m walking, but I am worried how it disrupts the healing process. Scabbing up, It’s going to leave a very cool scar though.

Slowly healing by the time I’m posting this 8/29/21. This wound has slowed my workout routine down a little. I haven’t been posting every day like I thought so, haha. But I’m still enjoying making these.

Shocking Blue Fanart

Warmup – 8.15.21

Light warmup for a cloudy Sunday morning. I am preparing to create the covers for my new book. Will be 44 pages, full color. The Imp on the left is for a strip I have in mind- like a weekly sort of thing.

Nine Panel Spread

Another 9 panel warmup of a spread (2 pages.)I believe each panel is a separate 3×5 flipped vertically. Not sure where the originals are at this point.

Nine Panel Open Call

This one pager was made for an open call in 2015. I’ve always loved seeing characters being chased by something or someone. I remember making this thinking “I don’t like 9 panel grids.” I do like them a lot now, as they have a lot of potential to make an interesting action scene or event.
