Warmup – 8.15.21
Light warmup for a cloudy Sunday morning. I am preparing to create the covers for my new book. Will be 44 pages, full color. The Imp on the left is for a strip I have in mind- like a weekly sort of thing.
Nine Panel Spread
Another 9 panel warmup of a spread (2 pages.)I believe each panel is a separate 3×5 flipped vertically. Not sure where the originals are at this point.
Nine Panel Open Call
This one pager was made for an open call in 2015. I’ve always loved seeing characters being chased by something or someone. I remember making this thinking “I don’t like 9 panel grids.” I do like them a lot now, as they have a lot of potential to make an interesting action scene or event. There’s a lot of opportunity in the timing and a lot can be expressed in just one
